Greta “Jade” Krafsig
Hello, I’m the owner and head instructor at White Oak Stables. I’ve loved horses my entire life, but I didn’t start riding until I was 14 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve trained in classical Hunt Seat and Equitation most of my life by a wonderfully talented local instructor, Sandi Diesterhoft. I’ve competed successfully in local hunter/jumper shows, western pleasure shows, hunter paces, and eventing. I enjoy working with people of all ages, especially adult beginners, plus-sized, autistic, and shy/anxious/fearful riders. I believe learning about horses should be both fun and educational and will teach towards your personal goals and desires.
Throughout my teaching I utilize love and logic, connected parenting and take a trauma informed approach. I am an advocate of cognitive behavioral therapies to encourage positive ways of thinking. I believe in applying encouragement rather than praise as a way to build self-esteem and develop higher self-confidence. While I am not a formally licensed educator, psychologist or therapist, I maintained training hours on many of these topics while I was a licensed foster parent.

Tobias “Tobi” Intrabartolo
Tobias has been a horse lover for as long as he can remember. He began riding when he was seven years old, starting his horse-journey as a once-a-week lesson kid in the show hunters discipline. As a teenager he switched to dressage where he truly found his love for the artistry and biomechanics that go into the horse and rider pair. He started teaching when he was sixteen on his first horse and heart horse, Bug, giving riding lessons to family members and friends. Ever since, Tobias has enjoyed having the privilege to share his knowledge of horses and horseback riding. Tobias takes a light-hearted but thorough approach to equine education.
Not only does he enjoy teaching and developing the rider, but Tobias also has a love for educating young horses and starting them under saddle. Tobias provides unique insight on the horse and rider relationship, having experience with both new riders and green horses.
Outside of teaching Tobias works with horses full-time and has his own herd of four lovely mares, Bug, Jolene, Winter, and Snickerdoodle!
