Beginner Rider Arena Exercises

Here are some of the exercises I use with beginner riders. They start off easy with walk and halt transitions then add steering into the mix. When they’re ready to start trotting we go back to the rail and start with trotting on just the short sides and then trotting and halting for increased emphasis on upwards and downwards transitions.
