It’s that time of the year, time to spread some fall and holiday cheer. Here are some fun activities and dates to keep in mind as we head into the end of the year.
No Stirrup November – that’s right, it’s back! All stirrups are coming off of the saddles, it’s time to work on your lower leg strength and improve your seat. Feel the burn as we get back to basics.
Thanksgiving Break – No lessons Thursday 11/28 and Friday 11/29
Dressage December – all jumps will be removed from the arena and we’ll shift our focus to the foundations of horseback riding. December will heavily focus on the training scale and how we as riders communicate with our horses.
December Holiday Gifts – Anyone signed up for a lesson in the month of December will get our annual holiday gift. Can you guess what you’ll get this year?
Christmas Break – No lessons Tuesday 12/24 to Sunday 12/29
New Years Break – No lessons Wednesday 1/1
Jumping January – all the jumps return to the arena and it’s time to focus on grid work and gymnastics. Are you ready to tackle a long line of jumps down the middle of the arena? Let’s see if all your hard work from November and December has paid off.
